The Broken Arrow site is dedicated to the support and growth of Vietnam wargaming and to the distribution of material relating solely to that war.

Whilst I welcome and encourage links with other sites (see Reciprocal Links, below), I can only consider links which serve to expand upon or contribute towards the growth of the hobby in this era or which contribute to a greater understanding of the Vietnam war itself. Sites which contain historical, technical, personal or other material relating directly to the Vietnam War are most welcome.

Pre-cut Figure Bases

East Riding Miniatures produce pre-cut CWC bases from 2mm MDF. If, like me, you have always gone to the trouble of cutting your own bases then you will realise just how convenient this service is. Once I found out about them I immediately ordered and was not disappointed. I suggest that you do the same as they save a considerable amount of time and effort for a relatively small outlay. Cold War Commander

Pete Jones' web site Specialist Military Publishing is the home of Cold War Commander (CWC) and has an excellent and active forum.

There are also some good resources available on the site as well as an Army List Generator which you can gain access to once you have purchased the rules.

Pete himself takes an active role in the forum and is always ready and willing to step in and answer questions and queries - that is if someone else on the forum doesn't beat him to it.

10mm Figure Suppliers

  • Miniature Figurines - A good range of Vietnam figures and models although be careful since they advertise their figures as 12mm rather than 10mm. Since I have not bought from them yet I am unable to say how they compare against, say, Pendraken 10mm figures. Their website carries a reasonable listing of most Vietnam figures that you may require.
  • Pendraken - Pendraken carry an extensive range of Vietnam figures and vehicles which can be found on the Pendraken website. The vast majority of my figures are from Pendraken and I can attest for their quality and the level of service. Well worth the money.

Internet Explorer

I have done as much as I am prepared to do to make this page display correctly in Internet Explorer. The fact of the matter is that Internet Explorer is a mavarick, non-standards compliant, browser.

It's a simple matter to change from IE to a better and compliant browser by clicking on the 'Spread Firefox' image-link below. I personally use Firefox and recommend it.
